Rating: 9 out of 10! This racquet has been used only once. It has no scratches on the racquet but the plastic is off the grip and there is ball fuzz on the string. It is strung with Volkl Synthetic Gut 16g at mid range. The Wilson Surge BLX 2012 offers an updated cosmetic from the previous Wilson Surge BLX and is the latest successor to Wilson's 'tweener spec nPro Surge and K Surge. It remains a classic 'tweener design, with a 10.4 oz. strung weight, 100 sq. in. headsize, and a 26/23mm wide beam. Although many consider the Surge BLX to be a player’s racquet, it is ideal for intermediate to advanced players that are looking for the perfect combination of power and control. It has a slightly lighter feel compared with Wilson's Pro Open and Pro Team BLX frames. Ideally suited for players with moderate, powerful strokes. Recommended for the 3.5+ NTRP level players. Basalt: Basalt is a natural volcanic rock. It can be used in manufacturing where it is made into fine gold fibers with incredible vibration resistance.
