Babolat has taken their best racquet and has added the Graphite System which adds a hybrid of braided carbon fibers and filaments throughout the entire racquet. The fillaments strengthen the frame to reduce torque for greater precision (Babolat claims 26% more precision compared to the previous Pure Drive). Babolat continues to utilize the Cortex vibration filter at the top of the handle. Cortex cancels only the highest two vibration frequencies and allows the frequencies that enhance feel pass through to the player. Babolat has kept the specifications on the new Pure Drive Light in between the Pure Drive and the Drive Z-Lite in terms of weight.
