The Tecnifibre TFlash 285 features several new technologies from Tecnifibre, in a lighter weight. New Velocity shaft design comes with 11% less beam size than a standard elliptical beam, Round Section Design offers improved torque resistance for increased power, and Silicone added to the handle lay-up offers improved dampening without affecting feedback. Expect a bit more pop and a more damped feel when compared with the TFlash 300 Speedflex. Best suited for a intermediate to advanced player with a moderate to long swing. The  TFlash 285 still offers a lightweight, yet stable and solid feel, with a head light balance that offers outstanding maneuverability, with a wider 23/25 mm beam for added power. "Stepped" beam design varies the length of the step for varied flex. A longer step at the base of the shaft allows greater flex for more comfort and increased control, while a shorter step at the top of the shaft adds stiffness for enhanced power and stability. Ideally suited for players with moderate, powerful strokes. Recommended for the 3.0-4.5 NTRP level players. Velocity Shaft Design: 11% less beam size than a standard elliptical beam.
